The last time I made a display, I grabbed about 50 or so "banned" books, put them on the shelf next to a large window, and then put Caution tape around it (bought at a Halloween store). I also put up 1/2 sheets of paper on the window with pics of book covers and quotes from ALA about why those books were banned/challenged. Each day, I had students asking if they could take a book from the display. I always said Yes!

Nice display. I use the paper bag thing, but I don't write the reasons on the bag. I like that! Thanks for sharing.
